Our fun introduction to football sessions are delivered on Sunday mornings, 9-10am at the Capelli Ground, SK10 5EX. Delivered by FA and Uefa qualified coaches these sessions are for any children aged 4-7 years old who want to be introduced to football in a fun, safe and nurturing environment.

Introduction to football
In partnership with Bollington United FC we are helping to introduce young children to football the ‘Bolly Way’ through our Colts Academy.
Our introduction to football project helps boys and girls aged 4-7 years old discover the joy of football in a safe and nurturing environment.
Children who attend these sessions have lots of fun, make new friends, develop confidence, fundamental movement and basic football skills. Everything needed to be a future Bolly Baller. These sessions support Bollington United FC to create new teams at U7 level. However, you don’t need to join a team to have fun on a Sunday morning! We are on a mission to encourage as many children as possible to start their football journey in our fun, safe and inclusive environment.
Our sessions are delivered by FA and Uefa qualified coaches who understand how to make football fun for all.

Can we just turn up to the Bollington FC Colts Academy?
Yes. However, we prefer people to register via our quick online form. If you have been once and want to continue, we need to get you registered.

How can I keep up to date with details about the sessions?
Following your registration you will be added into our What’s App chat. We communicate mainly through this chat but also via email, and the Bollington FC Facebook page.
Are the sessions pay as you go and what types of payment methods do you accept?
The sessions are pay as you go. You can make payment directly at the sessions using cash, apple pay, any major debit or credit card.
My child is not yet 4 years old, can they still attend?
Sorry no, but when they turn 4 please do bring them along. We recommend Little Kickers for younger children.
My child is turning 8 years old, can they still attend?
Children will be signposted into teams when they are in school year 1. If your child cannot play in a team by the time they reach 8, but still want to continue at our Colts academy, please let us know as we review on a case by case basis.
Does my child need boots and shin pads?
We advise all children to wear shin pads. Boots are beneficial when we play at our Capelli ground. If you’re new to the sessions, you might want to buy boots after you have tried the session first.
